1st scrimmage in Merritt Island on the softball field of Kiwanis Park on Thursday 7/15/10. I'll explain to everyone what we're trying to do, answer any questions, then we'll have a "No One Strikes Out" scrimmage. After that, we'll head over to one of the local bars for a few drinks and to get to know everyone. The bigger the turnout the sooner the Merritt Island Division will start, so spread the word.

It's the BAMMYS!

The 7th Annual Brevard Live Music Awards!

...The 'Bammys' are held each year at the Henegar Center on New Haven Avenue across from the Post Office in old Downtown Melbourne. Categories include Entertainer Of The Year, Best Original Band, Cover Band, Guitarist, Bassist, Keyboard, Drummer, Vocalist, Local Legend and more. There is a ballot inside the back cover of this month's issue of Brevard Live magazine. An emcee and supporting cast assures us that this is no dry affair but rather an entertaining show in its own right with surprises at every turn including musical spotlight entertainers and skits. A virtual who's who of local musicians, venue representation, press and promoters half the show is in the main lobby and bar before the show and at intermission. Some will arrive in work clothes driving their one & on ly auto while others will arrive in tuxedos and ball gowns in stretch limos, and everything in between. This is a 'don't miss' event.

MadHatterPromotions.com is again a sponsor!

Visit http://www.BrevardLive.com for more info.

I have reached ticket capacity for this.

  ANNOUNCEMENT

Welcome New and Returning "Fight Like A Girl" (FLAG) Team members. This 2010 Team is very special. We will remember my wife Linda Sue Rudy, the Original Central Florida "Fight Like A Girl" and all those women and men still fighting and surviving this dreaded disease. On Oct 2008, the first 17 member FLAG team was introduced to Central Florida. In Oct 2009, a 49 member team gathered at UCF stadium. In 2010, I'm attempting to recruit a 100 member team or more. Each 2010 FLAG team member will receive the very sought after "Fight Like A Girl" T-shirt. After you sign up, please email me at jay_rudy@doh.state.fl.us, your full name, home address, contact number and t-shirt size, so when I order the t-shirts in Aug, I can get your shirt to you. If you have any concerns, please call me at 321-242-4829 or email me. Thank you and continue to "Fight Like A Girl"
