Authorities Ask Beachside Residents to Limit Water Usage

Due to Sewer Main Break

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla. – Due to a sewer main break, beachside residents between the Pineda Causeway and Eau Gallie Boulevard are being asked to limit non-essential uses of water this evening.

A sewer main began leaking this afternoon in the area of South Patrick Drive and Banana River Drive in Indian Harbour Beach, and Brevard County Utility Services crews are at the site working to repair the problem.

Beachside residents are encouraged to postpone non-essential water usage, such as laundry, until after 8 a.m. tomorrow, when the repair is expected to be complete.
