Brevard County Farmers Market To Continue

            MELBOURNE, Fla. -  Due to popular demand, the Brevard County Farmers Market at Wickham Park will continue operating throughout the remainder of the summer, with a grand re-opening scheduled for October.      

            The Brevard County Farmers Market is co-sponsored with the University of Florida Brevard County IFAS Extension and operates on Thursday evenings from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Equestrian Area.

            The market features vegetables, fruit, citrus, greens, pies, bread, honey, eggs, grass fed beef, native plants, orchids, hot sauces, cheese spreads, pepper jelly, quiches,  dog treats and much more.

            Additional vendors and items are expected to be added for the fall. Interested local growers and farmers may obtain an application from www.brevardcountyfarmersmarket.com.

            Wickham Park is located at 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne.
